Join us for an Art Exhibition at Gillman Barracks for a wonderful experience! 'The Oceanic'is an exhibition focusing on large-scale human interventions in oceanic ecospheres with contributions by 12 artists, filmmakers, composers, and researchers who engage with both the long cultural histories of Pacific Ocean archipelagos and their current conditions.
This exhibition tour will be conducted in Mandarin followed by an art-making workshopwhere participants will be introduced to the medium of mixed media by incorporating Chinese ink and oil sticks into their art-making process. Participants will be encouraged to consider the dynamics of these two seemingly discordant mediums as they create their own unique work of art.
