Chui Huay Lim Club, one of the oldest Teochew clubs in Singapore, will be collaborating with RSVP Singapore on the opening night of their Teochew Opera Charity Show come 19 September.

Performed by the renowned Guangdong Teochew Opera troupe, Guang Dong Sheng Bai Hua Chao Ju Yuan(广东省百花潮剧院), the eight-night opera festival promises to be an immersive and colourful experience celebrating Teochew culture.

Tickets are available for sale ($88, $68, $48). 

This event will be the first collaboration between the 170 year old club and RSVP Singapore. Sponsorship packages are available to sponsor over 550 seniors from nursing homes, community clubs and senior activity centres to watch the show. Corporates can choose to sponsor a preferred number of seniors, advertise in the event’s commemorative magazine, or make an outright donation. Individual sales of tickets are also available. SPH is continuing to support President's Challenge (PC) this year with an event called "Volunteerism, A Pillar to the Society" at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre on 31 July.Apart from a lunchtime concert for donors, stakeholders and the public, there will also be a roadshow to promote Silver Volunteerism. RSVP Singapore will be having a booth to talk about volunteering opportunities at the event.
