Nunchi Marine Smart Wellness Programme

Spearheaded by RSVP Singapore, in collaboration with Nunchi Marine and current medical partner 1doc, the Nunchi Marine Smart Wellness Programme leverages senior volunteerism and strategic partnerships to bring accessible and sustainable healthcare solutions into the heartlands.

Officially launched on 19 October 2024 at Kim Tian West RC, this 3-year programme aims to bring preventive healthcare into neighbourhoods where seniors live, focusing on preventive care that aligns with Singapore’s Healthier SG goals. Unlike traditional healthcare models, the programme integrates professional medical expertise with RSVP’s unique volunteer framework.

RSVP Volunteers, trained as Health Advocates, play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between healthcare providers and seniors. As peers, the volunteers provide support as advocates who offer knowledge and assurance, sharing their perspectives on preventive healthcare practices in ways that are relatable to seniors.

The collaboration with Nunchi Marine highlights the value of multi-sector partnerships in achieving lasting community impact. By combining corporate resources, healthcare expertise, and the power of senior volunteerism, the NMSWP exemplifies a scalable model of shared responsibility – one that strengthens community health, builds resilience, and ensures no senior is left behind in Singapore’s journey toward a healthier society.
